Horizon Patong Beach Resort And Spa

The hotel was in a prime location, mere seconds from the stunning beach. Not to mention the abundance of top-notch restaurants in the vicinity, and a Thai eatery only a stone's throw away with the most unbelievable Pad Thai. the room and bathroom were spacious and exquisitely maintained, with all the amenities one needed. the service was top-notch, and the breakfast selection was impressive, offering plenty of choices to pick from.

The area of the hotel, while convenient, was a bit noisy at times.

The location was Awesome, with Hard Rock Cafe nearby. We appreciated our comfortable stay there a lot. 35 minutes by car from the airport❤

Family room still large but definitely needs a full refurb as does the whole hotel. Broken bathroom door-2 days to replace lock, air con broken by workman. Beware of room service which is now extremely expensive eg burger with chips 290baht & I usually get 20% off-now that's only for Indian food! Added to the total of $590 baht was huge service fee 64baht & vat 34baht, burgers were tiny & not worth the money a few chips & an empty tomato case with a bit of lettuce in it. My 14 year old was still hungry after this poor meal. I have been going to horizon for a few years but this was definitely the last time as I have got a much better hotel nearby at 2/3 less than horizon. Several people also said hotel much too expensive & is very out dated. btw internet is usually slow most of the time even going to sit in lobby was useless is definitely not high speed. There are heaps much better hotels than horizon. Was quieter this time as not full of extremely noisy guests.

Needs a full refurb, now under new owner as lease ran out, definitely needs a full refurb & only value is a 2 star.

The breakfast was delicious and had a wide variety of options. The location is convenient, especially for beach access and shopping. The pools are perfect for relaxation and socializing. The staff is friendly and helpful. The overall atmosphere is a great mix of modern and Thai charm.

Resort was really well located and staff helpful and friendly. Restaurant was also good for both breakfast and dinner.

The beds at both the Patong & Karon hotles were the hardest beds I have ever slept on. They didnt provide the comfort I would expect from a hotel.

I choose family room and pay extra than standard double to allow for 2 older children. I also call Booked.net ofice to confirm no extra charge, the operator check with horizon and was told if my children not older than 15 there wil b no extra charge.when we checked in, hotel said I have to pay more because booking was only for 2 people.I Tried to argue that the fam room is for 3 adult 1 child. They charged me extra 2000baht pernight, on top of 3200baht/night, I didnt have choice, and felt it was a rip off. Wld not go back there again.

Spent New Year's at this hotel and had a pleasant experience. the amenities provided were satisfactory, including the two pools available for use. Conveniently located near the beach and various dining options, making it easy to explore the area. the New Year's Eve celebration was a highlight, offering a firework show and live music to enjoy.

Some aspects of the hotel could use improvement. the Wi-Fi was slow and inconsistent, which made it difficult to stay connected.

The friendly and helpful staff and the quality of the resort amenities.

All good, although the bathroom was a bit dated.

Good Location

Using dirty bed covers all the times, rude staff reception need to respect the customers and behave nicly, need very long time when you ask for something, buffet breakfast was not that much nice and few options

The hotel was located very close to the beach, and I was able to walk there easily. It was so convenient to have access to everything I needed, including the shopping center and transportation. The breakfast was delicious, and I especially loved the omelettes and scrambled eggs made to order. The staff were always polite and smiling, and they were very helpful in suggesting places to go.

Hard to think of anything negative to say about the hotel or city.

We were given a terrific1st level room with a balcony overlooking one of the hotels two well maintained swimming pools. There was bar service available at both pools and an ample amount of lounges surrounding them. Staff were always very courteous and on one occassion when we had an airconditioning malfunction they sent maintenance staff within minutes to fix the problem. The proximity of the hotel to the beach, shops,markets & restaurants was a plus as we were able to walk to most of those places.

There was mosquitoes in our family room. The aircon did not work, had to call in the maintenance guy, only the second day the aircon worked. The toilet had poor drainage system. I would not go back there.

Convenient location, near food. Nice hotel, close to beach. Good halal food at nearby restaurant. Easy scooter rental opposite hotel.

Nothing not to love.
